State and Grade 7
Referee
Your annual USSF registration material should arrive soon.
According to the Referee Administrative Handbook (http://www.ussoccer.com/referees/refdev/rah.jsp.html),
to re-register you must pass a fitness test, pass a field assessment, pass a
written examination, and attend five hours of in-service
training.
The State Referee Committee on July 14, 2007, decided to
offer, as has been done the last several years, a statewide fitness test,
in-service clinic, and the written test at the Rock Bridge High School, 4303 S. Providence Road, Columbia, MO
65203 on Saturday, August 18. The fitness test will start promptly at 8
AM on the high school track. After the fitness test, the in-service and written
test will be conducted. We should be done by early
afternoon.
Each of the four districts of the State will also schedule one date for
a retest or make-up. Those dates will be posted at http://www.mrdp.org. Please bring your
registration form and fees to the fitness test. Note, the fitness test for
NISOA, because the differences of events, cannot be substituted for the USSF
fitness test. If you do not attend one of these five sessions, you will have to
schedule with your District Referee Administrator, a date to take the tests.
The fee for this make up session will be a total of $50, no matter how many
referees attend the testing session.
You should also schedule an
affiliated game for your field assessment. For grade seven’s, that assessment
can be done on any U15 or older age game. For State referees, the assessment
must be done on an adult game. At this time, the only affiliated adult games
are in Springfield and Saint Louis. Contact Jeff Kollmeyer (MoSDI@att.net) for games in Springfield and
Jose Andrade (JANDR29888@aol.com) in Saint Louis. Contact Neil
Hantak to schedule an assessor for these games (hantak@email.com). There are a limited number
of games and the season is short. Make arrangements with these assignors as
soon as possible.
